About Me
Pastor, A.L. Thurman Jr is a ordained elder in the church of God In Christ. He is an author of " A Vignette of narratives", He founded "Chidren Of Faith Ministries" and is the editor and cheif of two Christian news letters. His Christian education includes studies in "Biblical History" and "Divinity" at "Summit Bible College" in California. He recieved his Spiritual covering from his father and mother, Dr. A.L. Thurman and national Evangelist Mother J. Thurman. His Christian experience includes musician, sunday school teacher for more than twenty years, assistant pastor and numerous other areas of ministry within the church. Became a sucessful entuprenuer and operated two retail businesses of variety to facilitate the church and it's ministries. His secular experiences includes attending "Lincoln College" "Auto refurbishing business" worked for the collection department of "Signet Bank" and the "Union Trust Bank". Hello Elder Thurman
I just finished listening to "Don't Get It Twisted" sermon on the Thurman Memorial Website and then watched one of the videos and felt like I have been in a church service-- simply WONDERFUL. Wanted to quickly testify good news of God's continuous blessing. After being weak and fatigued for over a month, today I actually walked 1/2 mile in the park with the dog! The dog was tired and started walking slow but I was not even winded, weak or tired!! This was nothing but a blessing straight from God. Keep in mind that prior to this, walking a 1/2 block was difficult. I just wanted to share. Please continue to pray for my continued strength in the Lord as I will continue to pray for you.
