Pastor A. L. Thurman accepted Jesus Christ as his savior In 1984 then  received his calling in 1985 after experiencing a divine visitation from God.

 He is an ordained Elder in the Church Of God In Christ In New York under the jurisdictional prelate Bishop Frank O. White, and in Delaware under the jurisdictional prelate Bishop Thomas L. Holsey and received other certification within the Organization.

 

He is an author of " A Vignette of narratives", He founded "Children Of Faith Ministries"  and is the editor and chief of two Christian news letters.



Elder Thurman received His Christian education which includes studies in "Biblical History" and "Divinity" at "Summit Bible College" in California.  He  presently has arrived at attaining a Bachelor of Theology Degree concurrent to studies towards a Masters and Doctorates Degree.

 

 He received his Spiritual covering from his father and mother, Dr. A.L. Thurman Sr. and  Mother Janelle Thurman.

 

His Christian experience includes musician, Sunday school teacher for more than twenty years, assistant pastor and numerous other areas of ministry within the church.

 

He Became a successful entrepreneur and operated two retail businesses of variety to facilitate the church and it's ministries.

 

His secular experiences includes attending "Lincoln College" "Auto refurbishing business" worked for the collection department of "Signet Bank" and the "Union Trust Bank". And he has worked in many other ministries within the church.

The first Lady: Moselle Thurman, Christian experience includes an arbitrary position in our missions department.

 

 She is a philanthropist who's charitable contributions helps to aide a segment of the community.

 

She remains constant in providing infants to adolescent children with clothes each year. 

 

 She is the founder of "Tammy's Closet", a ministry that began after the untimely death of her child hood friend.

 

She thought the best way to remember her friend was by remembering just one of her best qualities, "her giving". Her friend would help anybody that needed it.

 

The first lady's secular experiences consist of a professional career in people management, her training comes from the "Chesapeake Developmental Center" and "Shore Health Systems". She received many medical certifications for her line of work and has worked at the Union Memorial Hospital of Easton for many years.
